Our operations are equipped with state-of-the-art technology, ensuring top-notch blasting and coating services. To maintain high standards, all our blasting and coating operations are supervised by multiple NACE certified coating inspectors. Our Blasting and Coatings shop is conveniently located off of N. Nellis Blvd, right next to Nellis Airforce Base in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Blasting:

Our spacious Blast Room measures 25′ wide, 80′ long, and 20′ high. It is equipped with top-of-the-line features to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness. We utilize a 100% steel grit mixture as blast media, which can be recycled up to 150 times, ensuring optimal resource utilization. With the capacity to accommodate up to four blasters per shift, our operations run smoothly to maximize productivity. The blasting process is powered by twin 200 hp electric screw compressors, supported by a 6,000-gallon compressed air receiver for consistent pressure. To maintain high-quality results, we employ a three-stage moisture removal system, ensuring dry air reaches the up to four #8 blasting nozzles. Our facility strictly follows the NACE 1/SSPC SP 5 surface preparation standard, guaranteeing exceptional surface prep for various applications.

Coatings:

Gregg Custom Painting has a proven track record of shipping numerous loads of freshly coated and inspected steel from our in-shop facility. With extensive experience, we have completed thousands of hours of successful projects. Our paint booth is a custom-made coatings solution. Our impressive Spray Room boasts dimensions of 100′ in length, 25′ in width, and 20′ in height. Equipped with two heated make-up air units, it can deliver a combined total of up to thirteen million BTUs of heat, facilitating both process painting and heat curing. Furthermore, the booth offers the flexibility to be fully divided, enabling multiple curing and painting operations to be carried out simultaneously. To ensure top-notch quality, we utilize and maintain multiple state-of-the-art coating inspection devices.

Our Las Vegas blasting and coatings facility Forklift and Carry Deck Crane are capable of lifting loads exceeding thirty thousand pounds. Additionally, we are strategically positioned with multiple high-capacity load movers located within minutes of our site, ensuring efficient handling of larger loads.
